5.0/10

I had a decent stay at the Hilton Tokyo Hotel. The location is reasonable, being about a 15-minute walk from the main Shinjuku station and close to various train lines. The rooms are compact and could really use some renovation, but the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my visit. I didn’t get to enjoy the executive lounge since it was closed, which was disappointing.

Rooms
6.0
My room was comfortable and clean, but on the small side. Some rooms, like my kids', could use some renovation. Views from the 27th floor were great, though.
Service
8.0
The staff were wonderful and eager to help with restaurant recommendations and reservations. They were friendly and very accommodating, even during busy times.
Location
7.0
While the location is a bit quieter compared to the bustling parts of Shinjuku, it’s close to the metro system and perfect for getting around. There’s a free shuttle bus to the station, which is very convenient.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast offerings were quite good, with a nice variety of Japanese and Western options. The snacks and beverages in the lounge during happy hour were enjoyable as well.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has good facilities such as room service and dry cleaning, but the pool was quite small. The executive lounge being closed during my stay was a downside.

6.0/10

I had a fantastic stay at Hilton Tokyo, particularly enjoying the upscale experience and the prime location in Shinjuku. The breakfast was simply one of the best I've ever had, with a great variety of fresh options. However, I did find the lack of soundproofing in the rooms to be a bit disappointing, which detracted from my overall comfort during the stay.

Rooms
8.0
I appreciated the spaciousness of my room, featuring a glass-walled shower room and a lovely city view. However, the lack of comfortable seating was a drawback.
Service
10.0
The customer service was excellent, with attentive staff who were genuinely helpful, especially when providing local tips and securing dinner reservations.
Location
9.0
The location couldn’t have been better, being just a short walk from Shinjuku Station and directly connected to metro lines. It made exploring the city incredibly easy.
Dining
9.0
The breakfast buffet was one of my favorites, offering a huge variety of delicious dishes, though I found lunch options to be somewhat limited.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had all the essential facilities I needed, including a gym, but the fitness area could use some more equipment like free weights.

6.6/10

My stay at the Hilton Tokyo was largely enjoyable, with excellent facilities and friendly staff. The location is convenient, especially with the free shuttle service to Shinjuku Station. However, the noise levels in the bar area were quite high, making it hard to have a conversation. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a Tokyo hotel experience.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and modern, featuring a great bathroom and comfortable amenities like a Yukata robe. However, I did notice that sound insulation could be improved, as traffic noise seeped in even from the 27th floor.
Service
8.0
The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming, making my check-in experience smooth. The team at the executive lounge, although mixed in friendliness, had some standout members who went above and beyond, like Waku.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is decent, with a good connection to Shinjuku Station. The shuttle made travel easy, but it's not exactly in the heart of the shopping areas, which could be a downside for some.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast at the executive lounge was good, with a range of options that suited my tastes. I did find the atmosphere in the bar a bit too loud, which affected my overall dining experience.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel boasts excellent facilities including a proper gym and a Japanese sauna, both of which I appreciated after long days exploring the city. However, the noise levels in common areas particularly during evenings could use a reduction.

5.0/10

Staying at the Hilton Tokyo had its ups and downs. The room I initially occupied was newly refurbished and fantastic, but the large room I got on my second stay felt a bit dated. The buffet breakfast was simply one of the best I've ever had, which was a major highlight. However, there were issues like noise disturbances from the Executive Lounge and the disappointment with their evening snack arrangements due to ongoing refurbishments.

Rooms
8.0
I enjoyed a newly refurbished room that was terrific. but the second room felt outdated with a bathroom that could use updates. The space was huge, yet the lack of certain amenities was notable.
Service
7.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. they went the extra mile to assist with requests. However, the noise from the lounge above was rather frustrating.
Location
8.0
The location is great for accessing Shinjuku. it's just a short, quiet walk to the metro and offers shuttle services to nearby stations. However, it isn’t right in the busiest area, which could be a downside for some.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was amazing, featuring a variety of options. the evening snacks were lacking and not replenished properly, which was disappointing. Overall, the dining experience didn’t live up to the breakfast level.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities included a good range of services like room service and laundry. but I found some areas lacking, particularly the snacks in the Executive Lounge.

7.4/10

I had a mixed experience at the Hilton Tokyo during my recent stay. The location was convenient with easy access to subway stations, and the staff was generally helpful and professional. However, I faced some noise issues from connecting rooms that disrupted my sleep, and the breakfast experience was just average. Overall, it's a decent hotel, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The Deluxe King Room was clean and comfortable with blackout shades and ample space, which was nice for Tokyo. However, my request for an upgrade wasn’t fully honored as I expected.
Service
8.0
Service was kind and attentive, though there was inconsistency in how the staff handled requests, particularly in the dining areas.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is great, with underground access to the Nishi-Shinjuku Metro Station, making it super easy to explore Tokyo. It's a bit of a walk to some main attractions, but not too far.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had a good variety, but it got crowded and I experienced a long wait at times. The dining prices felt pricey for what was offered.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered useful facilities like an airport shuttle and a nice bar, but the dining options could use improvement in service efficiency.
